LONGABERGER HEISEY - MOSSER Clydesdale Horse Figurine Set Of Three

Description: Beautiful cobalt blue: In 1998 the Heisey glass Museum commissioned the Mosser Glass Company in Cambridge, Ohio to reproduce the Heisey Clydesdale horse in honor of the Longaberger Crawford Barn Raising. The Cobalt Blue version was released in June 1999. There were 3,000 of the Cobalt Blue version produced. Each as a maple leaf design in the front lower leg to authenticate it as a Longaberger item. The Heisey Glass Company originally produced the Clydesdale Horse Figurine from 1942 to 1948 in crystal and in a light amber color in the early 50's. The Imperial Glass Company reproduced the figurine in various colors from 1982 to 1984 but none in the Cobalt Blue. I neither see nor feel any chips, cracks or repairs. RARE Beautiful Ruby Red Filly: Made only in 2001, as a limited edition for The Longaberger Company in cooperation with The National Heisey Glass Museum. The bright red glass is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The filly stands about 8 1/2 inches tall, 5 1/2 inches wide and 2 1/4 inches at the base. It weighs 2 1/4 pounds. The rear right leg has the HCA, Heisey Collectors of America mark. The rear left leg is marked with the Longaberger leaf symbol. The left front leg has M01. This comes with original hang tag as shown. Emerald Green: They were made in 2000 This Emerald Green Clydesdale Horse was produced exclusively for the Longaberger Company in cooperation with The National Heisey Glass Museum by Mosser Glass in Cambridge, Ohio. The horses are marked with "HCA" (Heisey Collectors Association), a maple leaf (a mark for the Longaberger Maple Baskets), an M for Mosser Glass (company that made the horse using the original A. H. Heisey mold in Newark, Ohio) Each horse weighs approx. between 2 1/4 to 3lbs the BLUE AND GREEN measures approx. 2" wide x approx. 7" high x approx. 7" long.
