Description: For sale are vintage 5 piece place settings of stainless flatware in a modernist open-work pattern from “THE CELLAR” home store at Macy’s Department Stores. The settings consist of a 9 inch place knife, a 7 1/2 inch place fork, a 6 3/8 inch salad fork, a 7 3/8 inch soup spoon and a 6 ¼ inch teaspoon. The rounded handles have open centers. The pieces are all marked “the cellar / STAINLESS / JAPAN” on the heels and the knife blades. Condition on the settings is fairly good, with normal signs of regular use but no real damage. Some good modernist stainless flatware.
