Description: This is nice wood stock for an 81 Marlin early version C with the deep cut for the S shaped bolt handle. Box magazine style. ( listed separately) looks like someone may have modified the butt for a military style steel buttplate. Does not look original and also has 2 sets of plate screw holes. No visible cracks anywhere that I can see. Looks like it may have been cleaned or partially stripped and redone in the past. Still a very good stock for a shooter. Other parts of this gun are listed.
