Description: Vintage Model Rectifier Corporation (MRC) ThrottlePack 501N for N scale trains. Has Throttlemaster control knob, pulse power for slow starts, forward/reverse. Rubber on the power cord still supple/flexible, no cracks, wall plug is secure/sealed and cord is firmly connected to the power pack. Great little power pack to have at the bench or powering accessories on the layout. Has been a solid performer for 45 years in my train room and I have used it to power both N and HO scale locomotives. Has been tested and works. See pictures for voltage readings. Outputs 16.4V DC with throttle fully engaged (no load) in both forward and reverse. Fixed DC measures 16.4V (no load) and fixed AC terminals measure 18.4V (no load).
