Description: Vintage Marlinda Doll by Tlingit Native Alaskan Artisan Marlieta Wallace (1908 - 2001) Authentic Native Handicraft From Wallace Alaska. Eskimo Doll with Leather Face & Real Fur Trim. Per my research, her dolls were generally made with seal skin. I don't know for sure what kind of leather was used for the face of this doll but there is s strong possibility that it is seal skin. Has Original Tag confirming artist who has had her dolls placed in museums. Approx. 7.5" tall Overall in good pre-owned vintage condition. Wear primarily on the yellow felt shoes and hands.
