The fabric is 80% rayon and 20% polyester- it is quite stretchy. No fasteners of any kind-this just slips over your head. 3/4 sleeves. FYI-This dress is generously sized- I was easily able to put on a size smaller than I normally wear. This is a lovely dress for normal (non-costume) wear, but something about the ruffles brings Jack the Ripper era London to my mind- I think you could incorporate this into a period costume. My home is smoke free. Chest (armpit to armpit) is 16" (40.5 cm) across. I ship quickly.
