Maker/Model :Parker Vacumatic Major Year :1940Details :stunning brown gold pearl striped cap & transparent barrel with black cap jewels. gold filled blue diamond clip, trim & Jewelers cap band, solid 14K gold semi firm Fine point nib, 3rd generation Vacumatic filler. measures 5 5/16" (135mm) capped Condition :overall very light use wear throughout and little plate loss and in excellent working order. pen has been fully disassembled, serviced and fitted with a new diaphragm. a smooth semi firm writer. overall a very nice example however it appears to also be a hodgepodge as the nib is dated 1945, both the cap and barrel are personalized with different names and finally the vac filler is a new version and the original would most likely have been a 2nd gen.
