This item was obtained from an old service garage and is not a newly remanufactured part. According to the box and my Kant-Ker-Rode Manual, this is used on the following models and years: 1955, 1956, 1957 Buick..12 Volts The hold down is plastic and is in brand new, never used condition. It is free of any cracks or damage. The original box is in fair condition and missing the identifying part number end flap. The part number of CD5 is cast on the battery hold down.
