This historical 12” by 6” document has a Certificate of Character on the left, and a Certificate of Discharge on the right. The ship, Zetus, left Liverpool on October 26, 1861 and returned February 22, 1862. William Sharp was Master of the Ship. William Tait, born 1835 in Shetland, served as 1st Mate.
