The print measures 24" x 15" as shown and is in the original mission oak frame with glass, measures 29" x 19.5". On the top reads copyright 1908 Published by Lawrence & Jellicoe LTD, Covent Garden London, Entered to act of congress by Close, Graham & Sculley New York USA. The print is in very nice clean condition, colors are still bright and sharp, no staining, frame has normal age wear but is still also in nice condition, back and wire have been replaced awhile back. A little history on Cecil Aldin.....Cecil Charles Windsor Aldin (28 April 1870 – 6 January 1935), was a British artist and illustrator best known for his paintings and sketches of animals, sports, and rural life. Aldin executed village scenes and rural buildings in chalk, pencil and also wash sketching. He was an enthusiastic sportsman and a Master of Fox Hounds, and many of his pictures illustrated hunting. Aldin's early influences included Randolph Caldecott and John Leech.
