Description: Vintage Packard Bell Legend 316SX that has been in storage for many years. When getting it running, I found that the HDD had failed. It has been removed. The PC boots successfully to MS-DOS 5.0. See pics. Note that this PC has an onboard CMOS battery that was dead, and it is not readily replaceable. I have created a workaround using a standard CMOS battery with leads clamped to the positive and negative sides. I've included a couple of pics to show this workaround. Comes with various accessories . Original Packard Bell Keyboard and Mouse. Note a small red ink stain on the keyboard created by my son many years ago. The keyboard works as it should with the system. The mouse was tested on another machine since the MS-DOS 5.0 running from the A: drive didn't support Mouse operation. Tested the Soundblaster Pro card using a simple DOS game. Worked as it should. Power cord, Polk computer speakers. MS-DOS 5.0 and Packard Bell manuals. Miscellaneous floppy disks as shown in the pics. Monitor is not included... Lastly, please note that the screw fastening the case to the chassis on the left side of the unit has the head broken off. This is shown in the final pic. Thanks for looking.....
