Description: TWO front strike vintage matchbooks advertising for the Cotton Boll Motel in Canute, Oklahoma and the Park Lane Motel in Montgomery Alabama. These are some of my favorite types of matchbooks because they are so weirdly specific and they existed at a time when people's standards for motels was WAY lower than it is today. The Park Lane Motel book is produced by Superior Match Co, Chicago and the Cotton Boll Motel just says "Made in USA." Nice condition - both books are missing some matches and have some wear. If you are ordering multiple single books of matches and would like to combine shipping, please send me a message. The USPS First Class rate is around $4-5 if you get 1 or 5 books, so don’t overpay if you don’t have to! Please keep in mind that common wear is present here and there (corrosion on a staple, slight bends, etc.) These will be placed between two pieces are cardboard, wrapped in plastic, and shipped in a sturdy envelope.
