No breaks or cracks on any of the snowmen. One hat has black paint that has worn away. I have always looked at it as if it was snow on his brim. I used to sell PartyLite and still have quite the stash. I have used this as a wintery display pice for about 25 years. I have not had a 3 wick candle in it.
