This is dependent on the width of your fabric. Ensembles from the 1940s similar to this were made of a variety of fabrics including poplin, shantung, pique, linen, novelty cottons, chambray, lengthwise stripped cottons, rayon gabardine, surah or flat crepe and they were colored navy, nuberry wine, teal blue, black, red, laurel green or henna rust. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Edwardian gown pattern package includes an explanation of the symbols used on the pattern set, pattern piece count and written directions on the front cover and it has a pattern diagram and a opy of the original’s artwork on the back cover.
