Description: Wonderfully unique bowl from Pigeon Forge Pottery, Tennessee. This piece is known as an atomic bowl with its unique modern tri foot base - almost space ship like. It has a beautiful lava glaze in earthtones and would be a great piece to add to you collection. This piece is made made Jane D Ferguson (b. 1946-d. 2021). She was the daughter of the original owner of Pigeon Forge Pottery - Douglas Ferguson. Her middle initial “D” stands for her dad’s name. Jane was a master ceramic artist and she had her pieces displayed in galleries across the USA. Her father signed his pieces D Ferguson- her pieces are just signed Ferguson. These pieces would be from 1998 on. No chips, cracks or scratches. Measures 5 1/2” tall and 8” in diameter. It is quite heavy.
