Description: Porsche Boxster Convertible Top Alarm Clip. When installed with the top down, this enables the motion detector so if someone tries to enter the vehicle with the top down the alarm will go off. Made from high quality ABS plastic. The clip was originally designed to be used with the optional speedster humps. If you install the clip it holds down the micro switch that tells the ECU that the top is up. This deactivates the system so that the top is not operated while the humps are installed (this could damage the car/top). The side benefit is when the ECU thinks the top is up it activates the motion sensors when the alarm is activated (these sensors are normally not operational when the top is down and the alarm is engaged).
