Description: For sale quality made stainless steel cylinder holding down bolt set (4 off) (ZB34) these bolts are made to very high quality, manufactured from 18/8 stainless steel specification D.T.D176A which has a tensile strength of 38 tons, having a coefficient of expansion rate of 0.000018 it is almost the same as the expansion rate of the cylinder barrel & head (0.000022) this ensures that the engine expands & contracts at the same rate, reducing the possibility of bolt yield & greatly improves the oil tightness of the engine, the bottom collars are correctly fitted & butt up to a radial groove that ensures the bolt pulls down square. We have used these bolts on our successful race engines & engine rebuilds for over 25 years, the bolts are not polished, the high surface finish is a result of machining stainless steel components for over 35 years Please note the short cylinder bolts (ZB34) made to the same specification & quality are also available to order.
