Description: A set of 6 prints (colorplates) by French artist, Raoul Dufy. Dufy (1877-1953) is known as a painter of the Fauvist school. Fauvism was a short lived art movement -- but a personal favorite of mine! - that lasted only a few short years, 1905 thru 1908. This is a set of reproduction prints. Prints are on a card stock type paper with a gloss finish on the card stock/ front of each image. Prints come in their original envelope/ folder with a small, paper leaflet that provides background on each print and on the artist. Each print is numbered. The number is in the border portion of the print and not part of the actual image. Printed by Skira Color Prints in Switzerland. Undated. 20th Century. Prints are unframed.
