It is listed under Non California, USA State Gold issues. It has a Buffalo obverse and a 1901 Pan-American Exposition reverse. This rare token is not denominated and was struck for the exposition in Buffalo, New York. These pieces were originally issued with a loop and attached to pins and bracelets. Token measures 11mm in diameter.The token and bracelet are plated in gold in the "rolled gold" fashion of the day. The ornate bracelet section is handcrafted in a twist and loop style. The elegant design features two faceted, amber colored beads. The total weight of this bracelet with the attached token is 6.93 grams. The token is in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, or very nearly so. It is quite attractive and displays bold detail and lustrous color. The bracelet section is very sturdy and shows only a hint of light wear, if any at all. This is a beautiful and usable piece of jewelry!The presentation box is made of embossed faux leather and is lined in printed silk. It is believed to date from the middle 20th century.
