Really nice and fairly rare piece of Marine One and Presidential memorabilia that doesn't show up very often, these boarding/seating cards were given to dignitaries, officials, VIPs and other individuals who flew aboard Marine One as guests of the President. Often the name of the flight guest were typed between the Seal and "Welcome Aboard" script for a personalized touch. In a pinch they were simply handed to guests as is. The card features a highly detailed embossed Presidential seal in gold and embossed 'Welcome Aboard Marine One' in silver script. The card measures 3"x5" on textured thick card stock and was crafted by Lehman Brothers Engravers of New Haven, Connecticut. These cards were acquired by my father who was a 20yr Marine - retired gunnery sergeant and supply clerk at one point in his career.
