I took the photos with the (good quality) removable Mylar protection on with shows some glare, particulaly on the photo of the spine Please ask me any questions you like and I'll also be happy to supply additional images if required William Lunn was appointed keeper on the Houghton Water on the River Test on 1st January 1887, and remained there for 45 years. This book contains his views on chalkstream management, weed-cutting, restocking with mayfly, trout hatching etc., as well as his approach to fishing and his fly dressings, including the famous Lunn's Particular. "It contains chapters on fly life and the management of a fishery, on weed control and much information applicable to chalk streams in general. A book of quite unusual value and interest to trout fishermen and fishery owners." (Where To Fish 1934) I've been collecting fishing books, reels, salmon flies, tackle (mostly trout and salmon) for over 40 years and have recently retired from the 9-5. I'm under strict instructions to free up some space in the house, so will be refining my collection (on ban on adding choice items yet!) over the nest few months. I'll do a mixture of "Buy it Now" and Auction depending on the item. I'll pack the item as well as I can using recycled material when possible. I'll aim for a quick turn around for packing and posting (during the fishing season there could be a short delay, caused by the Dee, Don or Deveron!). I aim to price fairly, not too much and not too little.
