SALE!! 20” SFBJ 251 Full Cheeks French Character Toddler/Expressive Happy Child

Description: Offered here is this wonderful 20” character child with chunky toddler body by SFBJ of Paris. Her bisque head is perfect with no damage or repairs and she has choice smooth bisque with fine, deeply-modelled features which make her expressive face such a joy to look at. She’s a chunky, happy character girl. Her head is incised: SFBJ 251 Paris 10 Perfect bisque with flat painted brows, blue sleep eyes with real upper lashes, painted lower lashes, open smiling mouth with two upper teeth and tremble tongue. Her original 12-piece jointed composition toddler has slant hips and the chubby formed limbs of a toddler with chunky knees. She has the SFBJ sticker on the back of her torso and a small divot to the back lower torso about the size of a small fingertip that has likely come from being played with. Her body is in good condition (one hand has experienced peeling to the paint, but her other hand has not.) There has been a very small repair to the inside of one hip joint, and a tiny random-seeming bit of repair material at one knee. There has been some touch-up to the paint in places but it was done very long ago. I priced her at a much lower price than her real worth because I got her at a good price and then I can sell her to you for a good price, too. Her head circumference is 13” and she wears a fine quality vintage blonde human hair wig with bangs and long loose spirals that curl lightly at the ends. There are two antique or vintage tiny hair clasps that you can see in my photos that she came to me with. She comes dressed in a fine antique white nightgown that has pretty red trim and front placket with buttons, over which she wears a vintage, made from antique fabric, white cotton lawn pinafore that ties at the back and looks darling on her. A full-length chemise with matching pantalettes, vintage socks and satin one-strap shoes complete her costume.
