SS Valencia was troop ship during Spanish American War & returned to West Coast for passenger service. Wrecked on reef with much loss of life in nautical maritime disaster. Undated. Pasteboard measures 7 1/2" x 5 1/4", photo measures 6 5/8" x 4 3/4". In good condition with some minor wear and staining as pictured, some scratching. Very rare image of San Francisco California as well as a famous ship.
