Description: Saw Palmetto Serenoa Repens15 Seeds Chill Hill Farms In recent years, Saw Palmetto's have become very popular for use in Florida Native, Low-Maintenance, landscapes. These seeds are very fresh and will grow very well. We spend our Winters working in the Saw Palmetto beds and my oh my does it pay off! The old Palmettos are trimmed, Greenbriar Vines removed & Yaupon Hollys hacked out of the way. We are always so blessed to have a wonderful Saw Palmetto Berry harvest. When the berries are ripe, we cut the branch holding the beautiful berries. They are then dried in the Florida sun for weeks. You would not believe how strong these berries smell! Crushed Saw Palmetto berries are commonly used to make an herbal tincture. The alcohol tincture tastes very similar to Jägermeister. YouTube is a great resource for additional information on uses, recipes, etc. Our farm is permitted by the Florida Department of Agriculture to harvest and sell Saw Palmetto Berries from our properties.
