According to the serial this saxophone was manufactured in 1977. The most desirable years for Mark VII’s are late 70’s and early 80’s. As seen in the pictures this sax has plenty of lacquer wear which is to be expected for the age. Some scratches and blemishes as it’s used but nothing that affects the playability! This saxophone is playable right out of the box. It may need a few adjustments based on your preference. Pads are in good shape and have plenty of life left! This saxophone blasts from top to bottom with ease with that world famous head rattling sound that make these Selmers so famous. No mouthpiece included.
