Description: Offered for sale is this interesting set of two Presidential Inauguration covers. One is for the inauguration of President Donald Trump on January 20, 2017 and the other is for the inauguration of President Joe Biden on January 20, 2021. It's interesting the different treatment for the covers I sent away. The 2017 cover was returned to me through the mail instead of under cover and received a spray on wavy line cancel for Capital District 200/208 dated April 6. By contrast, the 2021 cover was shipped in a protective plastic overwrap with a stiffener. One could almost believe the USPS was playing favorites. Anyway, either of these covers may come in handy as a double inauguration cover in January 2025 if Donald Trump wins the election this year. I first started collecting Presidential covers with the inauguration of Jimmy Carter. I send away ten covers or postal cards for each new Presidential term. These covers will make a nice item for a collection of inauguration day covers.See the scan for condition.
