They would be very hard to distinguish from wood unless they are picked up so that their lightweightness is revealedMatching light walnut tones Each has a grouping of classical figures at the bottom with flora at the top. They are:A figure (appears to be female) dressed in a gold robe and holding flowers with a cherub walking with her and reaching up for the flowers. At the bottom right is a pink rose and two more larger pink roses and greenery fill the top half.A female in a gold robe playing a lyre while a cherub waves a tambourine. Yellow tulips fill the top portion of the plaque. There is slight paint loss on the female figure's left knee.A female sitting on an outcropping while a cherub shows her an object. The top portion is filled with oak leaves and acorns.A female sitting on an outcropping with a cherub on her knee. The remainder of the plaque is filled with a stem with large green flowers. Some of the gilt on the female figure appears to have been rubbed away.Each is approximately 1.5" x 4.75" and each weighs between 5 - 7 ouncesThere is a wire hangar on the back of each for ease of mounting on a wall or cabinetThey are delightful vintage pieces with the appearance of being hand carved and hand painted.
