Description: You are buying a pair of books covering North Dakota history in memoir fashion, with recollections and reflections. These books were written by Erling Nicolai Rolfsrud, who was born and lived in North Dakota. Both books are paperback, and both are SIGNED by Rolfsrud. One book has his signature only, and the other has an inscription/signature. The two books offered in this single Buy-It-Now are: With Wind at my Back – Recollections and Reflections. 1988, First Edition, First Printing, Signed & Inscribed.Petticoat Pioneer – A Novel of Prairie Homesteading. 1993, First Edition, First Printing, Signed. Condition: Very Good. Books complete, with binding holding and pages bright. No writing inside that I can see, other than the author signature as described. Some light handling is apparent, and some very light scuffing on the high gloss covers. Book corners are nice. These are very nice copies. Hardly touched. This book is not an ex-library book. I am not a book exchange company or Goodwill, where books are played out or pretty much ‘well fingered’ and obviously handled a lot. I mail items surrounded by cardboard, unlike some sellers that drop it in a thin plastic bag and call it good. I want it to arrive in the same condition you see in the photos. For a complete picture of condition, please read the description and review the photographs I have taken and posted with this listing. The photographs I have included in this listing are of the actual item you are buying. Please ask questions before bidding, and I will answer as best I can. I prepare items carefully for shipping, and often reuse shipping materials to minimize impact on the environment, and rarely have a problem with damage in the mail. I try my best to describe what you are buying, but if I have made a mistake in my description or missed something significant, returns will be allowed. However, I will not accept a return simply because you changed your mind about buying it. For a book or audio book, if you decide the book isn’t as interesting as you hoped, or the reader’s voice isn’t as exciting as you expected, that is not grounds for a return. Basically, if you buy it, it is yours. Thank you for understanding!
