Description: Here we have a nice genuine hardwood cylinder cabinet peg kit. Through a lot of time and research I have contracted with a world class woodworking business to manufacture these pegs to strict specifications. They are 100% American made from HARD MAPLE. These are brand new and fashioned after an original peg. The one most noticeable difference is that the radial top of the peg has no machine marks, just oval and smooth. The sides of the pegs are tapered too. The kit contains 25 clean and unfinished pegs, 25 slotted flat head wood screws like the ones they used back then and one drill bit with the correct diameter for pre-drilling into the bottom of the hardwood peg. I could have had them pre-drilled, but I am trying to keep the costs down for these kits. I have a picture of me drilling into the bottom of the peg. Easy to do, all you need is a hand drill. No sanding is required as they are already smooth and ready for finishing to your liking. I have added two pictures of what they look like installed in a cabinet. I selected a #6 wood flathead screw to be sure the head remains below the surface on the underside of the drawer. See picture. These were “no cheap date” to make, but I always wanted to produce these for a couple of cabinets I have and for a few people who have contacted me over the years that wanted these. For those of you that are familiar with me, I am known for making the cardboard pegs I sold for years (but not at the moment). These pegs are more a labor of love than a profit center.
