Press each button in sequence to see if it works.Next, insert a tape, press play, and check if the tape rotates and produces sound. If the tape doesn’t rotate, the tape itself may be the issue.Older tapes may not rotate properly. If this happens, try rewinding or fast-forwarding the tape to improve playback.If the tape rotates but there’s no sound, check the volume. If the pitch seems off, inspect the 2x mode and speed control settings.Small devices may distort sound at higher volumes.
