Description: 1948-1961 STANLEY No. 5, type 19 in rosewood with brass. Basic restoration or clean up preformed; Surface rust removed, bottom flattened, general clean up and oiling. The Japanning (black top area of shoe) has a couple paint splashes. Hole in the O of No 5, I guess for storing without dulling the blade. Back of handle on top has a small chip from the wood. Approx 14.25” long. 2 and 7/16th inches wide. 6.2 cm wide (62mm) and 35 cm long. Great piece for your collection and or workshop! Freshly sharpened up and ready to go!
