Despite its modest features, this receiver in my opinion is one of the best values for audio even today. Watts and accuracy are the standard for amps, and this unit has tons of power, very low distortion, and Matsushita made-in-Japan quality. Plus unlike many newer units it plays flat eq with no bass management. I bought this in 1995 or so and still plays clean and as loud as I can stand. For anyone who is not a rabid $$$$ audiophile it will be better than your ears and as good or better than any receiver on the market today.
