Description: This is a beautiful set reprinted in 1974. The only noteworthy flaws are some discolored spots on the back of volume 1 and the front of volume 7 (see last photos for close ups). Otherwise, considering this set is close to fifty years old it's near perfect, especially the spines. The insides and binding are excellent and crackle like a new book when opened...this set may have sat on a bookshelf and never been opened. I've sold a lot of vintage books and this set stands out as exceptional to me. After photographing the entire set from each side ... I've photographed the front and back of each volume in order. Although they do look alike you'll see photos of each volume sequentially and a close-up of the noted flaws on Volumes 1 and 7 at the end of the line-up.
