Description: This is obscure R&B vocal group The Intervals singing "Side Street" on Ad 104 from 1958. This doo wop R&B record looks VG+ with moderate surface markings but plays VG++ with minor background noises. The picture sleeve is a custom sleeve made in Canada or England and is in MINT condition. This is a one-off sleeve that is not mass produced. This record comes in a clear, resealable, poly-vinyl protective sleeve with a cardboard backer separating the record from the picture sleeve. It is my understanding that Lamont McLemore, Ron Townson and Marilyn McCoo started their careers with The Intervals and later went on to record as members of The Fifth Dimension. Please advise me if this is incorrect. Details are sketchy. "Side Street" went on to be a regional hit when it was released on the Apt label. U.S. postage and handling is $4.75 on this item.
