Woods and Savage are both fantastic in this film, Savage especially due to his emotional range - he had to be one of the most underrated actors of his generation. Very early film portraying what became known as PTSD, back in the day when people who suffered thru it were shamed, blamed and othered because society at the time was incapable of empathizing with them.
