Prismless feature is highly effective when measuring to points where it is dangerous or difficult to place prisms directly and when job efficiency is the first priority. From extra long distances to remarkably short ones, TS662 offers accurate reflectorless measurement up to 1,640 feet. When using a single prism, you can measure as far as 16,400 feet at once, with an accuracy of (±2 + 2ppm x D) mm. Trimble TS662 features dual on-board batteries allowing you to swap batteries without powering off the instrument. With on-board data collection capability, simple operations can be achieved by selecting the necessary functions, such as data collection, layout and memory manager routines from the main menu. For enhanced operation in the field, the internal memory stores up to 10,000 points. Data communication to a data collector is possible via Bluetooth or the RS-232C interface cable. Trimble TS662 is also fitted with an intensity adjustable laser plumb. This makes centering quick, easy and accurate, laser plumb is built into the vertical axis and the user can adjust the brightness to the prevailing conditions. Just touch a key and the laser plummet is switched on and the electronic bubble becomes visible. This way, the instrument is centered and leveled up in a moment. Trimble TS662 provides a compensator for angle compensation, this provides accurate elevation measurements, even if the instrument is not precisely leveled.
