Description: Auction for vintage Gen Con East July 23, 24, 25 & 26, 1981, Cherry Hill Inn, Cherry Hill, New Jersey Schedule and Pre-Registration. Runs 8 pages and includes all the information necessary for pre-registration for the event. Some of the judges and speakers included E. Gary Gygax, Frank Mentzer (Menser in brochure) (running his RPGA tournament "To the Aid of Falx" which became module R-1. The schedule has sessions/events for many of the early boardgames, miniatures battles, and RPG's. The tournaments were frequently used as playtesting for what later became populer TSR modules. Gen Con East was only held this particular year in NJ. Individuals included E. Gary Gygax speaking on D&D/AD&D, Fran Mentzer, running the tournament "To the Aid of Falx" adventure in addition to holding the RPGA meeting, Howard Thompson of Metagaming, Frank Chadwick of GDW, John Butterfield of SPI, Randall Reed of Avalon Hill and more. In addition to the special events some of the board, miniature and RPG games included Traveller, Sword and Flame, G.I. Anvil of Victory (Squad Leader), Heart of Oak, Star Fleet Battles, Hitler's War, GEV/OGRE, Risk, Monopoly, Kingmaker, Squad Leader, The Fantasy Trip, Runquest, and numerous D&D/AD&D sessions.Brochure/Flyer shows normal wear/tear with age/use/storage.
