Shape: Mini Mug, with handle.Pattern: Whimsey Ale---(per William Heacock's Encyclopedia of Victorian Colored Pattern Glass, Custard Glass A to Z, Book 4, page 52).Size: 2 1/2 inches tall; 1 3/4 inches across top.Features: Hand painted red rose & rose buds, green leaf accents; red lettering; metallic gold paint accenting around top rim; ribbed bottom for striking matches; glows under UV light. Condition: EXCELLENT, vivid decor, NO chips or cracks, but has a bit of (usual) wear on top rim gold. Custard Glass: as the name implies, is more yellowish than milky & is an opaque glass. Uranium was added as a colourant to make it pale yellow. And.....YES, it GLOWS under UV light. Horton, Kansas - is a city in Brown County, Kansas, United States. As of the 2020 census, the population of the city was 1,523. Horton was founded in 1886. It was named for Albert H. Horton, chief justice of the Kansas Supreme Court. On January 22, 2013, the host of CNBC television show "The Profit" toured Horton in hopes of revitalizing Horton's downtown business district.
