These cufflinks have the old-style Vice Presidential seal that was in use prior to it being changed under President Ford and Vice President Rockefeller. The cufflinks are not signed but are hallmarked. Presidents Ford & Nixon also had this style cufflink as VP. Displayed in non-original-vintage box.There are virtually no records on early vice presidential seals, but there were versions in use as early as 1846 and almost certainly earlier as well.
