Description: Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for a beautiful vintage 1930's Verlys French opalescent vase decorated with roses with foliage in relief. Verlys glass was made in France beginning in 1920 and by a subsidiary of the French company in America from 1835-1951. French made Verlys glass was signed with a molded signature and American glass was often signed with diamond point engraved name so we believe this vase was made in the American factory. Verlys designs were made to resemble the prestigious Lalique glass creations made in France during this period. The Verlys molds were leased to the Heisey Glass Co. in America from 1955-1957, however, the pieces made during this period were not signed. Measures 7 1/2" high with a 3 1/4" opening and an overall width of approximately 6 3/4". Weighs 4.5 pounds. This nice vase is in very good to excellent Estate condition. There are no noted flaws on the body of the vase although there are numerous surface scratches on the base from normal wear. We welcome International buyers, however, please note that as sellers we have no control over random Customs inspections. We are not responsible for any Customs charges incurred as a result of this purchase. We at Antiques & Moore have been in the Antiques business for over 30 years and try to describe our items as accurately as possible.
