They are heavier than they look. They are from the 40's 50's time frame. They are quite unique and would look great on just about any vintage look. I was going to transform another men's suit jacket for myself with these MANY years ago. Never got around to using them. I have WAY too many now so time to let go of some of the beauties in my collection. I got these at an estate sale about 20 or so years ago. They are 1 inch shank back buttons. The gold looks brighter and shinier in person than the photos show. They would look great on a sweater or coat as well!
