Evidently they must have been available through Barnes and Noble Bookstores at the end of the last century. They are marked on the back 'C 1999 Barnes & Noble Inc.' Actually cool pieces and more interesting than the typical and by now boring 'almost replicas' we see everywhere. They were originally created in clay as clear by the style in which they're executed. Cool bookends - cool objects.
