Description: For sale is a beautiful vintage Chinese miniature 4-panel wood and ceramic screen, that measures 9.75" x 6.75" when full opened up. The wooden framing of the screen is made of dark stained and lacquered wood with a minimal bottom edge design, and features four dual-sided, hand painted, porcelain panels that have multi-coloured goldfish swimming amoungst sea-gress on one side, and pandas in bamboo forests on the other. This item came to us third-party following an estate sale, and though the exact age of it is not known, we are told it had been displayed as decor within the prior owner's home for 30+ years. There is only some extremely minimal generalized age wear in small spots along the wood framing of the panels, but the panels themselves are in really beautiful well-preserved condition. The colours of the paintings are remarkably rich and vibrant, and the entire screen is clean and free of any overt damages - no cracks, stains, or discolouration to note.
