Whether for competitive play or casual fun, this Coronet Mahjong set promises hours of entertainment.The set I purchased included 144 original Bakelite tiles by Coronet (themain 142 plus 2 blanks) and since it was missing two flowers I put flowerstickers on the two blanks. The original game was played without jokers so the original set came without jokers. I purchased eight (8) matching tiles and placed stickers of dogs and cats on them so that may be used as JOKERS. This set has the soaring Crane One Bam and fire (smoke blowing) breathing red and green dragons. The tiles are overall in great condition. Each tile measures approximately 1.25” long x 7/8” wide x 1/2” thick. The set is now complete and can be used for everyday play. Contents 152 tiles Pair of vintage dice. Mahjong coins and coin holder. Betting Wheel. Five (5) vintage swirl burgundy racks with brass tone stoppers and coin holders (the brass shows some signs of aging.) These racks are heavy and in overall great condition. Please note in the photos how one of the racks have a small chip. I have not tried to repair it. Coronet case. Lined on the outside with fake alligator skin and deep burgundy velvet/felt lining on the inside. Includes two tile velvet-lined trays. The latches work . Case and Handle show signs of wear .
