Description: Offered here is a vintage Emerson model number 79648SH 18" 3 speed oscillating desk or table fan. I was concerned how to describe the size. The blade is 16" in diameter and the cage is 18". I think fans historically have been described by the diameter of the blade. This fan is from an estate sale. I cleaned it off, plugged it in and off it went. The only thing I found wanting was the screw for the oscillating arm was missing which I replaced. It runs fine in all 3 speeds and oscillates fine. Note: This fan is vintage fan and as such does not have all the safeguards that todays fans do.
