Description: Vintage January 1944 Flying Magazine I am not an expert in rating condition, but it seems good or perhaps even better to me. Spine is complete, front and back covers are intact, with only a slight amount of curling of the corners. There is a small piece missing from the back cover, see photos. Many interesting articles about how the military is conducting the air war in World War II, as well as articles reporting on advances made in instrument flying. Numerous full page advertisements, some in color, are scattered throughout. As per USPS rules, book shipping rates cannot be used since the magazine contains commercial advertising, even though in this case only a few are still in business. Most are long gone or have been absorbed by larger competitors and the brand names no longer exist. Some that still exist today were Embry Riddle, Firestone, B.F. Goodrich, and that old faithful, Snap-On tools.
