Description: Vintage metal cage that has rusted beautifully. This piece has actual rust and not a want to be fake finish. Remarkably, there is no flaking of the metal. Once upon a time this looks like it was probably a soft green color. The cage stands 11.5" tall, the hanging loop and chain is an additional 10" long by 7" round at the base. This piece has a bit of age to it, the metal is thicker than you would think and the piece is solid in construction. If you wish to open the dome top to insert a candle lantern etc. you will have to use a metal snipper and cut off the old rusted piece of wire holding the closure clasp in place.
