Vintage IBM Thinkpad 770 Laptop Windows 95 & 2K Dual Boot, Gaming, Works Great

Description: Up for sale is a vintage IBM ThinkPad 770 laptop with Windows 95 and 2000 Professional dual boot system installed. It is in great working condition and good cosmetic condition. Software: Windows 2000 Pro, Windows 95, and other vintage software and games, etc. Hardware: The laptop is equipped with an Intel Pentium CPU at 233 Mhz, 224 MB RAM, 10 GB hard drive, 13" LCD (1024x768), Both 9-pin Serial port and 25-pin Printer port (many legacy applications rely on these ports), DVDROM drive, USB port, Modem port, External VGA port, PCMCIA slot, LAN port, etc. Main battery holds charge. It can still charge to 99%. I boot W2K, shut it down, then boot W95 again, still has 95% charge. CMOS battery was just replaced, OEM AC Adapter is also included. This laptop is most suitable for legacy Windows 2000 applications, and Windows 95/98 gaming and other vintage applications. As far as Internet goes, the Windows 2000 & 95 supported browsers are is too old for modern WEB pages. So do not buy this for Internet purposes. Notes and Known issues: - DVDROM works for CD disks, DVD movies, but has difficulties to read some DVD data disks.- There is some kind of noise during start of playing Windows 95 startup sound. It never happended to Windows 2K or other normal playing sound time. So far I cannot get rid of this other than lower volume during Win95 start. Cosmetically, it is used with normal wear and tear for its age. But better than most of the IBM 770 series laptops I have seen. There are some scrtaches on LCD lid top and bottom. overall in very good cosmetic condition for its age. See pictures. Laptop will be cleaned up and fully tested before shipping.
