Description: These beautiful earrings were handmade in China 40+ years ago from 925 sterling silver filigree wire and gold plated. The center stones are hand-carved natural jade in the prosperity shape. There is a flat twisted wire surrounding the outside bezel and it is hand-painted with blue and purple enamel on the alternating sides of the twisted wire – incredible detail! What you will see when you look closely at the images is how intricate the construction of these earrings are – especially the filigree base on the backside. The company that made these earrings is well known for manufacturing detailed & authentic replicas of jewelry found in museums. I was lucky enough to purchase a large sample case filled with their jewelry that had been locked away for 30+ years. The condition of these earrings appears to be almost new and the gold plating is intact. The earrings measure almost 1” diameter.
