Description: Hello. I am so pleased to be offering a stunning mid-20th century Victorian-style Shafford lady head vase from my own personal collection. She is very hard to find and is highly coveted among new and seasoned collectors alike. She is the only one exactly like her currently for sale on ebay. The lady is wearing a black dress with an off-white ruffled front trimmed in gold. Her matching black hat has an off-white underside with small black polka dots. The hat is crowned with two large off-white plumes with gold accents. She is wearing red lipstick and matching nail polish. Her beautiful blonde hair forms bangs in the front and long cylindrical curls on the sides and the back. Her hair and makeup are perfect. She is missing her left earring; however, it is set aside in a Ziploc bag and will be included with the vase. There is no glue residue on her left earlobe where the earring once was. The lady has no chips, cracks, scratches, paint loss, restorations, or repairs. She is in mint condition. For the sake of accuracy, she has sporadic areas of clear crazing. She also has a few small stray marks on the front of her sleeve and on the back of her hat. These mentions are extremely minor and in no way detract from her attractiveness. The vase's bottom is stamped 4150 JAPAN. Her dimensions are 6-3/4" h x 5-3/4" w x 4-3/4" d. She displays beautifully and is just exquisite. Barron's book of 2006 updated values lists hers as $900.00. She would make a great addition to your collection or could be a precious gift for someone special.
